2000 California Gator Golf Tournament

Second Annual Results

The second annual California Gator Golf Tournament was a great success. A lot of fun was had the weekend before the first Gator Football game! Greg Olson- Gator Golf Team Class of 79, foursome won again! The foursome shot a -10 and was made up of: Olson, Brad Davis, Gideon Senderov and Lee Hines. They played and brought their way to victory. They easily brought enough "Mulligans" to pay for the first pay-per-view football game! Thank you Gators!

The purpose of tournament was to have fun, offset club expenses and generate funds to assist travelling Gator Teams (like the Lady Gator Volleyball Team). The purpose was fulfilled!

The tournament was held at Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course on Sunday, August 27, 2000, at 11:00 am. Sunnyvale Golf Course is located at:

Tournament fee was only $65 per golfer, plus a Gator item for the raffle. Fee included green fees and a golf cart.

Purpose of the tournament was to have a fun Gator gathering before football. Proceeds of the tournament well be used to cover tournament costs and pay per view Gator football games costs at the California Gator "South Bay Swamp" at Quicksilver Pizza. There was a Great Gator raffle in the bar after the last foursome was done.
