- Pat's Run 2008 -
It was another great day at the third annual Pat's Run. In support of International Gator Day The San Francisco Bay Area Gator Club headed up "Gator-Aid Station 2." Thanks to the following Gators and Gator fans for your support: Steve Wood, Kay Wood, Cullen Wood, Olga Calderon, Eric Kahrs, Qiuyue Dan, Barbara Lyons, Bill Denty, Jennie Arasato, Dan Dexheimer, Elisabeth Bishop, Steve Martz, Rob Worley, Rohit Mishra, and Jackie Lai. Also, supporting "Gator-Aid Station 2." Was the San Jose State Gymastic team, Leland Hidh School students, Bret Harte Middle School students, and Willow Glen residents. Pat's Run supports the Leadership Through Action program that enhances young people's leadership skills and the Tillman Scholar Program. Gator Runners arrived about 7:30 to register and pick up their runner's shirts. We had nine runners officially finished the race. Four better than last year. The team placed 25 out of 44 teams. Dan Hunt and JR both beat last years time by a couple minutes. The first place Gator Runner had a time of 33:44 while pushing his son in a stroller. That little Gator runner did the kids run at 9:45. Overall it was a beautiful day to run and we look forward to an excellent turnout next year. We had five new runners this year. Thank you for your support of Pat's Run and International Gator Day.
